ISU Grand Prix 2026/27: six stops on the road to the Final in Chongqing
The 2026/27 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating season opens on 23 October 2026 in Angers (France) and, over six weeks, visits six countries before the titles are decided at the Final, from 10 to 13 December in Chongqing (China).
The series brings together about 150 elite skaters and couples from all over the world. Each event features 12 men, 12 women, 8 pairs and 10 ice dance couples, and each skater may compete in a maximum of two events. The top six in each discipline qualify for the Final.
The season calendar is as follows:
- Grand Prix de France — Angers, France, 23–25 October
- Skate Canada International — Kelowna, Canada, 30 October–1 November
- Cup of China — Shenzhen, China, 6–8 November
- Skate America — Everett, United States, 13–15 November
- Finlandia Trophy — Helsinki, Finland, 20–22 November
- NHK Trophy — Tokyo, Japan, 27–29 November
The ISU Grand Prix Final will be held from 10 to 13 December 2026 in Chongqing, China. Qualification is decided on points: each event awards points to the top finishers in each discipline, and only the top six reach the Final.
The data come from the official season guide published by the International Skating Union (isu.org), consulted on 10 October 2026.
