Grand Palais des Glaces returns to Paris: the world’s largest indoor ice rink, 12 December 2026 – 6 January 2027
The world’s largest indoor ice rink returns to Paris: the Grand Palais des Glaces opens from 12 December 2026 to 6 January 2027 beneath the glass roof of the Grand Palais. Tickets are on sale now, online only, with adult access from 27 euros.
A Christmas tradition under the glass roof
Set inside the building built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the rink turns the nave of the Grand Palais into a vast covered ice surface with a night-time atmosphere. Three daily sessions are planned: 10:00–13:00, 14:00–19:00 and a nocturne from 20:00 to 02:00 that turns the monument into a disco on ice. Children under 14 must be accompanied during daytime sessions, and under-16s at night.
Tickets and conditions
Adult tickets cost 27 euros in the morning, 32 in the afternoon and 39 for the nocturne; children pay 15 and 18 euros; visitors aged 65 and over, 22 and 26. Skate rental and access to the children’s area are included. Gloves are mandatory on the ice. The Premium ticket (standard price plus 50 euros) adds a dedicated entrance and skate collection in a private lounge.
What an ice rink of this size takes
Keeping thousands of square metres of real ice in perfect condition for weeks calls for a correctly sized refrigeration plant, frequent resurfacing passes and constant temperature control. Napapiri has applied that same standard since 1993 to its real-ice rinks, mobile and permanent, for municipalities, event organisers and recreational and sports facilities worldwide, with installation and technical support included. Quotation within 24 hours.
